An Englishman’s first love is his brown ale. However, in the summer he often fancies blondes instead! With this inspiration, we’ve created Newcastle Bombshell, an English style blonde ale. The combination of Cascade, Hellertau and Northdown hops balance this golden coloured ale’s light aroma and bitterness with toasted malt to ensure a silky smooth finish. After one sip of this brew, we’re sure you’ll agree she’s a real bombshell.

bottle. Poured clear gold with a thin white head. Citrusy hay aroma. Medium crisp mouthfeel, tart finish. Fresh grassy malt flavour with a sour citrus note, peppery bitterness.

Pours a clear golden orange from the bottle with dissipating white head that doesn’t really lace. Aroma is bready grain and sweet adjunct. Taste follows, nice balance, easy to drink. Good with food, but nothing special.

Pours a clear amber with a good off-white head. Aroma is malty and lagerish, slightly fruity. Malty flavor has a fruity undertone, typical but still refreshing. Decent body and fair fizziness round out a nice blond ale.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a golden amber color with a small soapy white head that faded and left no lacing. The aroma was tart lemon, Windex, perfume and was a bit skunky. The aroma was dry, tart and sour with notes of chalk, lemon pez, cracker and an astringency throughout. Medium length tart and sour lemon pez and lingering astringency. Light body. Pretty awful.

This beer is palatable but pretty boring. Honestly the picture of the cute chick on the cover is better than the beer. On sale at Shop n Kart

Clear Gold Color, Medium Frothy Head, Lots Of Thin Lacing. Grassy Aroma. Slightly Sweet, Light peppery hop bitter with sour finish. Light, slightly buttery. Simple style, therefore OK for what it is. Drinkable, Refreshing, just not interesting enough. Just OK for me. Pass it...

12oz bottle. Pours a straw yellow color with a short-lived white fizzy head. Aroma of sweet cereal grain and malts. Taste starts off very grassy, some bready and biscuit notes, grainy, and the finish lingers on with the grass. Fairly light bodied, medium carbonation.

Bottle. Clear bright yellow pour with a fluffy white head. Skunky smell. Some cracker character. Pretty bad.

355mL. Pours clear golden. Medium, soapy white foam. Little to no lace. Nose is a tad vegetal, odd hefty parsnip, bizarre. Taste is watery, some lemon, candy corn, small citrus hops. Thin, somewhat soapy palate. Somewhat refreshing though. Not so bad.

12 oz bottle into a beer mug. A: Pours a clear golden color. About two fingers of white shaded head is formed, with acceptable retention and a nice texture. A lot of lacing is left on the glass, which honestly kind of surprised me. Can’t fault much here - it looks good in a mug. S: Let’s see...there’s a touch of crackery malt...and an ever-so-brief whiff of earthy hops. This is bland. REALLY bland. T/M: Taste (and mouthfeel, really) are a bit more expressive: crackery malt at the forefront, followed by notes of black pepper and buttered popcorn. The general flavors aren’t entirely desirable to me. Still, the clean, crisp finish and lighter body helps it go down quite easily. O: Sorry, I prefer brunettes and redheads.
