3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Review sample. Has that slightly sugary smell I get with a lot of blond ales, but this is also upfront with some earthy English hops. Look is just fine, a clear golden yellow ale with a stiff finger-width head. Taste is, luckily, drier than the usual blonde ale. English hops stay at the front, making this largely a lighter version of a session bitter. Nice carbonation helps deliver points of hop bitterness. Full taste for a slighter lighter beer.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Twelve ounce bottle from Western Hills Kroger, tasted on June 1, 2013. Medium gold/amber color, medium white head, pungent aroma reminiscent of Little Kings Cream Ale with some fruit thrown in, pungent flavor that’s like a pale lager with an attitude, bitterness not that enticing. A disappointment after trying Newcastle Werewolf.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle:   Bright straw, light carbonation, small foamy white head, little lacing.   Soft malty nose, some soapy straw/hay as well.   Mealy start, a little buttery.   Otherwise soft straw/hay.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate, but leans thin.   Actually, this one seems thinner than others.   Snoozer of a finish.   Boring, so boring.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pours a crystal clear, golden with a medium white head. A completely non-descript aroma and below average palate. I’ve certainly had better blondes.

Ok beer, but not much going on. Just a New castle taste in a blonde version. Well enough.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a clear golden orange from the bottle with dissipating white head that doesn’t really lace. Aroma is bready grain and sweet adjunct. Taste follows, nice balance, easy to drink. Good with food, but nothing special.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a clear amber with a good off-white head. Aroma is malty and lagerish, slightly fruity. Malty flavor has a fruity undertone, typical but still refreshing. Decent body and fair fizziness round out a nice blond ale.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a golden amber color with a small soapy white head that faded and left no lacing. The aroma was tart lemon, Windex, perfume and was a bit skunky. The aroma was dry, tart and sour with notes of chalk, lemon pez, cracker and an astringency throughout. Medium length tart and sour lemon pez and lingering astringency. Light body. Pretty awful.
