3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Appearance: thin white head dissipates rapidly with very slight lacing. Clear light golden appearance and heavy carbonation present.
Aroma: fairly mild with some citrus and earthy hops in the background of sweet malt.
Mouthfeel: light, watery, refreshing, crisp, with a dry finish.
Flavor: pleasant combination with the sweet white bread malts along with a tangy, earthy hops.
Overall: since this is a summer beer, I actually was pleasantly surprised at the hop characteristics. By no means is this a hop-bomb, but it has a nice bitterness that sets it apart from so many of the super sweet summer ales that are so popular at present.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Sub-par watery beverage brewed with low quality malts and skunked hops. Fair amount of adjuncts for lightness and cost-savings. Spend your money elsewhere, this one’s bad.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle to half-pint glass (shared with the Mrs.). Looks solid; a transparent pale golden orange with eggshell head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells of mild but pleasant hops and yeast. Tastes like it smells, but blander. Average on the palate. Not bad, but not good either.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Clear medium amber, 1" head cover, sheets of lace. Aroma of malt and margarine. Taste is oily oleo malt that moves to a medium finish without change. Not appealing, but, possibly in the early stages of skunkiness. Not recommended.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle: Golden color with a finger of white head. Nose is moderate, sort of reminds me of the brown, a nutty and roasty base with faint hops. Sort of has that same nutty and malty taste as the brown, but less of it. It would be safe to say I’ve had better.

Bottle. Poured clear pale color with an average white frothy head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate floral hop and malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Good drinkable brew.

Poured from bottle into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear golden color with a two finger billowy white head. The head fades moderately fast leaving a nice level of bubbly lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma was a nice balance of lemon citrus and cracker notes. The lemon was the strongest of the aromas but other aromas of a light pear and graininess were there as well giving a refreshing smell overall.
Taste – The taste begins with a biscuit and grainy flavor with some lemon flavors upfront. As the flavors advance they gain a grassy and rather earthy hop flavor. As the taste moves to its end the earthiness gets stronger and with a slight increase in the lemon a lightly bitter and crisp taste is left on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is rather light with a carbonation level that is a little above average. The two are good for the citrus and earthy flavors of the brew as well as for creating a more crisp feel to match the lower abv of the beer.
Overall – The lightly bitter grass, lemon, and earth flavors at the end of the taste was actually rather nice for the brew and made for a nice drinking summer beer with a bit more earthiness then most.
