jgree44 (14), Louisiana, USA Apr 23, 2009 A really nice beer. pours brown with slim white head. very refreshing. slight hop taste. just a simple, good beer. ako (153), Turku, Finland Apr 21, 2009 (Tap @ Pub Nice Home, Turku) Amber, thick tan head. Smells "English"; sweetish malt, already hints of hops. Slight malt, mostly hoppy bitterness. A little stuffy finish, otherwise refreshing. GMUcrew7 (353), Mason, Ohio, USA Apr 19, 2009 Pours ruby red/ brown with not much of a head. Aroma is strangely appealing, malty and nutty. Whatever qualities I saw in the aroma are completely lacking in the flavor, watery carbonated cardboard, with a hint of malt. Not sure what the appeal of this beer is, you’d be hard pressed to find a more boring brown ale. jbye4334 (652), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Apr 16, 2009 (bottle). Pours a brown color. Small off white head. Has a burnt malt aroma. Roasted malt taste, with light caramel. Smooth finish. Soft carbonation. jonno (542), Brisbane, Australia Apr 16, 2009 Never really got this beer. Watery and thin with a strange kind of caramel taste. Not worth it Kestral (191), Oslo, Norway Apr 16, 2009 Dark reddish brown, beige head. Faint aroma of caramel. Taste is caramely malt, slightly nutty and some hop bitterness towards the end. Thin and watery. 6ROW (243), corpus christi, Texas, USA Apr 14, 2009 amber pour with small light brown head. sweet malt aroma with a nutty taste. to bad. aaronhaywood (74), Kansas City, Missouri, USA Apr 10, 2009 Not bad, but nothing great. Has somewhat of a nut bread taste to it. Not a regular for me, but wouldn’t turn one down. Can see this getting boring after a while.
