MitchWayne (264), Kokkola, Finland Apr 8, 2009 Sweet and nutty and boring as hell. Well at least it isn’t offensive and tastes like something. Badabing (21), West Virginia, USA Apr 4, 2009 Nice color. nice aroma, a good dinner beer. I little price at $10 a 6 pack. Not really a big Ale fan but it’s in my top 10 or so. PaulHegedus (458), Georgetown, Ontario, Canada Apr 2, 2009 500ml can. This is a dark amber brown colour with a half inch permanent head. There’s butter, toffee, molasses in the aroma. The mouthfeel is thin and a bit watery. I taste sweet toffee in the malt with a slight hop background. Starts sweet and leads to a short dry finish. bedainedebiere (274), Terrebonne, Quebec, Canada Mar 31, 2009 Not awful, a macro I have sometimes in some indian food restaurants in Downtown Montreal, because it is better than a Molson Ex (or a Cheetah)... There are some subtilities of sweetness and fruityness, but it is rather watery, a little less on tap though, and the bitterness is boringly discreet. In good conditions, with friends, on a warm sunny day, downtown, I’ll be happy with it. But in itself... Beer2000 (1775), Kristiansand, Norway Mar 31, 2009 330 ml bottle. Clear nut-brown body with a small and diminishing off-white head. Nice aroma of caramel malt. Flavor is malt, caramel and moderate bitter. It has a rather one-dimensional flavor with a thin and watery body. Refreshing, but boring after one bottle. This was actually the first non-pilsner beer I fall in low with almost 30 years ago. gunnar (486), Sandnes, Norway Mar 31, 2009 Bottle. Pours light brown with a small white head. Sweet malty aroma. Caramel taste, not too sweet, easy drinkable. shawnm213 (884), South Bend, Indiana, USA Mar 30, 2009 at a bbq this past saturday. ok. kind of week on the malt and hop side of things.
