from 550ml bottle. Pours brown and clear, with a thick beige head. Aroma is suprisingly skunky. This beer is pretty hoppy for a brown ale. Not very complex but still very drinkable. Not a bad beer but its nothing special either.

Pors a light brown with a small tan head. Aroma is kinda skunky, with some caramel and malt coming through. Tastes fairly watery, with grass, caramel, apple. Mouth feel is very macro feeling. I think this beer is ok... good macro but not great overall.

Brown/red with a small creamy head. Aroma is light malt and hops, nothing great. Flavor is pretty watery with a nice malty bottom end. Nice crackery finish. Drinkable but nothing special. Don’t know why they put it in a clear bottle, bad news.

Brown color with a thin off white head. Mild spicy aroma. Light malty body with a hint of caramel and a little hoppy bite.

Thin, poor malt. Almost getting a wood flavor that fades to an old cherry taste. Has something good about it, but overall, not good.

Enjoyed 12oz bottle. Pours a lightish brown with a slight head. Nose is slight. One can get some notes of toasted malt, but not much else. Medium bodied on the palate. Little if any bitterness, perhaps only enough to balance the malt sweetness. Malts give one the sense of biscuits or lightly toasted bread. My sense is there is the use of Crystal 60 or 80, along with the liberal use of Maris Otter malt. Overall, not the greatest beer in the world, but good for session drinking at the pub.

One of my favourite large-scale beers. Poured from a can into a regular lager glass(what I had available), resulting in a dark reddish brown liquid with a creamy white head that dissipates very slowly. Taste is of balanced hops and powerful caramel maltiness. An all around decent ale. No big suprises, but does it’s thing well enough.
