Deep amber beer with a small off-white/tan head. Minimal sourish and caramel aroma with a light hop and some nutmeg. The flavor is similar with toasted caramel and malt, easy hop and some fruity esters and spicy nuts. Easy drinkable but not a very exciting one

Poured from tap into pint glass. Clear reddish-brown with thin foamy head. Aroma of semi-sweet caramel malts, English hops and I swear I smell corn - very mild overall. Caramel and biscuit malts with some English hop counterbalance. Mild bitterness. This is in-between a 3 and 3.5 for me. Usually I bump up, but I know it was not as good the last few times I had it in the bottle, so I am bumping down. Moderately high carbonation, medium body, somewhat dry finish. A little too fizzy. Not very exciting but certainly easy to drink. I used to enjoy this a lot more when I was in my early 20s.

Pours slightly foggy dark caramel with a thin tan head. Nose is malted and nutty, as is the flavor with a touch of esters and biscuit. Some toffee and caramel as well.

12oz bottle and on tap. Pours a clear brown color, with a small off white head. The aroma is faint malt, light buttery or toffee aroma as well. The same story for the taste faint malts, buttery, slight grain and nuttiness. A decent brown ale.

Pours a clear mahogany tinted brown with a 1 finger creamy white head that has poor retention. Aroma is light nutty toffee, skunky hops, caramel, buttered toast and a hint of roast. Flavor is roasted nuts (mostly hazelnuts and peanuts), light toffee, light caramel, planty and skunky hops, some toasty-sweet malt notes toward the finish. Finishes with skunk, heavy mineral notes, roasted nuts and burnt sugar. Palate is very light bodied, light to moderate carbonation and an increasingly dry, almost seemingly acidic feel. Not exactly the best in the world, certainly not worth the "Imported" price, but not aweful. Just not my cup o’ tea.

Pours transparent nut brown color with tiny beige head. Aroma of toffee with some spices. Flavor is quite one dimensional with sweet caramel and nutty tones. Slightly spicey, neutral finish. Smooth, medium body with moderate carbonation. Just as industrial and unexciting as expected. Worth one try, but nothing more IMO.

Dark brown color; Medium slightly creamy body; Aroma of roasted malt & spice; Flavor of sweet malt, lots of caramel, some spice; Nothing complex here - but I did enjoy this one.
