Discreta. BillyMidnight (41), Alberta, Canada Mar 7, 2009 Clear bottle. Smelled like skunk. Tasted like death. Ruined breakfast. ’nough said. weitz15 (67), West Lafayette, Indiana, USA Mar 6, 2009 Dark Brown Pour with a cream head. Taste is initially of slight hops, which subsides and gives way to a sweet caramel taste. The hops and flavor is a great mixture. Gary (352), Buckinghamshire, England Mar 5, 2009 Updated: Apr 26, 2009Reminded me of a thin Dunkle lager. Nutty and chocolatey. ’Fog on the Tyne is all mine all mine ....Fog on the Tyne’. dwaggs2 (531), Lee’s Summit, Missouri, USA Mar 5, 2009 Bottle. Poured a light brown color with a little head. Very well balanced beer. Hops and malts. Very smooth and drinkable. Aroma is nuts and malts. Nothing to great. jimmack34 (560), Lancaster, Ohio, USA Mar 4, 2009 1-17-08. Pours hazy light brown. Smells of nuts and caramel. Tastes of tea leaves, nutty, and malty sweet. Thin aftertaste. Not really up my alley. Cavie (1317), Fort Worth, Texas, USA Mar 4, 2009 Has a very different aftertaste but not something I would shy away from. An interesting sample to say the least. VikingMetalGod (31), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA Mar 2, 2009 Bottle: It’s not the ultimate ale but for a regular common beer that can be found most anywhere, its one of the tastiest. Has a pleasant, smooth taste and feel. Goes down very easy. Flavor is light for an ale but satisfying, nonetheless. A bit sweet but not unpleasantly so. Good go-to ale when there aren’t any others.
