RunDWP (203), San Jose, California, USA Aug 1, 2008 Updated: Oct 23, 200822 oz bottle. Faint nutty aroma. Pours a dark brown color with minimal white head. Flavor is nutty, which not much else to it, and a little watery. High level of carbonation, giving it a bit harsh mouthfeel. Good for a mass market brew. Ryan82SM (231), Louisville, Kentucky, USA Jul 30, 2008 One of best blends of flavor and drinkability of the mass produced beers. A good stair-step beer, especially if you have been in college too long and drink too much of the Bud-word. Nice flavor, very drinkable. Don’t hate on a classic. Droptank (79), Spring, Texas, USA Jul 28, 2008 I loved this beer. Sweet crisp and refreshing. I was completely shocked it came in a clear bottle!?!?!?!? lipscomb216 (78), USA Jul 26, 2008 Doesn’t stand out or distinguish itself in any way. Just a beer to drink when the only other things available are the "Great American Pissy Tasting Lager". gameface23 (131), Haverhill, Massachusetts, USA Jul 25, 2008 Updated: Oct 22, 2008Medium brown color with a short-lived head. Sweet, slightly malty nose with a similar crisp taste. lithy (1600), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Jul 22, 2008 Deep but clean brown color with a small dissipating off white head that reduces to a film. Hard to describe the nose, bland with a sweet nuttiness. Taste is sweet brown ale almost like tea with unnoticeable hops. Good drinkable beer found in even the worst of beer wastelands. BigBang (210), Indiana, USA Jul 20, 2008 The fact that this beer comes in a clear bottle says something in its own right (not a good thing). More flavorful thatnthe macrobrews and a decent alternative when options are limited. Thin mouthfeel with mild nut flavors. Pretty light. kieleszd (83), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA Jul 17, 2008 Aroma is poor. Looks amber/brown with very little head. The flavor is weak but the palate is strong and makes the financial castle. Its a wet brown full of subtle nuts like almond and a touch of hazel. Its quenching and impacting, but just barely touches the better browns.
