One of my all time favorites! Great color, flavor and mouth feel. Very light taste for a heavy looking beer.

This one was not the best. Certainly better than any of the light lagers, but could be better. Some malty flavor, a bit of hops. It is pretty decent with food.

On tap @ In de Wildeman. Dark brown colour, watery hoppy nose. Taste is very weak, watery bitter, some malts. Not my style.

had it on holiday in England 06-07-’08. 500 ml can. brown colour. small foam head. easy to drink.

excellent brown ale. Looks heavy but drinks light. There’s already room for 1 more.

This is one of my favorites, just taste amazing to me! I recommend everyone to check it out, its a good club / bar beer thats not to expensive.

Pours a nice opaque brown with a thin off white head. Aroma is slightly skunky and unpleasant, but the taste is quite the opposite. A nice crisp beer that is easy to drink.

Bottle, barely chilled. Gorgeous copper and clear as glass. The dense sand-colored foam is perfect and remains even after the glass is drained, and tissue paper lace hangs everywhere. Brown sugar, wet wool, and floral aromatics. Fruity flavor suggests watermelon and currants, toasted chestnut and almond, wood, and caramel chews. Medium-light mouthfeel, very silky and "wet." A classic English brown ale that satisfies and practically defines the style.
