Apr 28, 2008 Can’t believe I missed this one, had it several times. Crystal clear reddish brown beer with amber highlights. It pours with a thin, off white head that fades quickly. The aroma has a sweet caramel smell with a hint of nuttiness. The flavor is very mild, with grassy notes and a touch of sweetness on the finish. The aftertaste is a bit bitter and metallic. The mouthfeel is coarse, with the carbonation dominating the palate.

Apr 27, 2008 Draught at Old Tom, Kouvola. Mahagony color with small head. Mild aroma with caramel and chocolate. The flavor is also mild with caramel, chocolate, wood and hint of resiny english hops. Fairly low bitterness, hint of sweetness in the finish.

A- This brew was hazelnut brown in color. The light brown head was somewhat small but stuck around for a while.
S- Nutty, sweet aroma, typical of a standard brown ale.
T- Very balanced, unobtrusive nuttiness. Not offensive whatsoever but slightly on the boring side.
M- I love the mouthfeel of this brew; it is highly carbonated and fairly viscous.
D- This is my go to brown session ale. Very drinkable if you are in the mood to kick back a few brown ales.
