Newcastle Brown Ale

Pours a dark brown color with virtually no head. Smells faintly of malt and nuts. Tastes of malt and roasted peanuts that gives way to a slightly watery, bitter finish.

Bottle poured into my trusty stein- poured dull copperish brown, off tan head formed with a little lacing, light carbonation. Weak aroma of malt. Hits the mouth with a high- thin body, malt is noticeable but a little on the weak side, has various sugar (sucrose and brown) notes throughout the swallow, finish is complete. Sessioner class that’s actually not bad- drinkable in both hot and cold weather conditions.

Aha! is the title of the group that i listen right now and is the expresion of the first taste that i scream when i tasted! the favor and the aroma is much better than the look, the head is poor and soft, the color is great, in my mouth jump some great flavor, the cereal is present, a little peanut flavor in the deep, very large in mouth and little bitter final. The falvor is best when i take a little drink and breath with my mouth, all the flavor dancin in my tonge... "gone with the wind" of dave brubeck quartet was play in my last drink, mmm, mmm ,mmm!!! this is a good brown ale!!!!

Pours a nice amber or glowing brown color with a decent head that disapates quickly. Smells malty and as it warms you get some carmel like aroma coming through. A little sweet on taste an d bit bitter after it passes through. It tastes a bit watery though and incomplete. A good ’drinker’.

12 oz. bottle. Ah, the ability of clear glass bottles to ruin a beer. Having had this beer numerous times before, I decided to rate it from a left over six pack that a buddy left at the house. Now he’s not a beer lover. If he was, he’d have noticed the fact this this smells of skunked Straub. Fizzy, off-white head with moderate lacing. Brown with amber hues. Like I said, the nose is less that desirable, sewer and skunk cabbage. Some how, some way a touch of malt comes through, though it’s mostly soapy astringency and mild bitter. This sample definitely doesn’t live up to the normally solid brown ale. Just a thought, brown ale in a brown bottle. . . . just a thought. Rating from memory.

Pours a dark brown color with a decent tan head and lace. Altough I’ve had it before when it didn’t generate any head. I kind of expected a stronger aroma and flavor. Kind of boring but solid. Subtle sweet flavor with brown sugar notes in the background. This is very easy to drink but sometimes I feel this could use an extra kick. I’ve had it when it’s been a little bland. Good Brown Ale that you can find just about anywhere.

Amberish in color with a decent head. Taste is of malts, a little caramel, and a touch of hops. Smell has the malts. A little nutty. A beer you can find almost anywhere.

Newcastle has a great bitter taste that goes well as a dinner beer. The pour usually leaves a small head that dissipates quickly. Newcastle is a great beer to take to most casual parties.
