2008 Bottle - Grassy, malty...I don’t get it...there is nothing that makes this beer stand out but I love it just the same, perhaps my favourite brown...

Bottle. Nice head with medium duration. Color is brown. Aroma and taste are sweet caramel and some lightly roasted malt.

In the bottle or on Tap, this beer isn’t bad. It goes down nice and smooth. For a brown ale, it’s definitely one of my faves.

A classic brown ale with that special UK flavor. Pours a sweet golden brown with a mix of malts, and sweet flavors, but overall ebough character to be an ale.

Clear brown with medium tan head. Roasted malts & dough in the aroma. Watery & thin with a metallic finish. Eh, feels pretty macro to me.

Canned. Dark copper, foamy beige head. Slightly metallic aroma with caramel malts and little hops. Flavor a bit syrupy caramel malts, light nuttiness. Dry finish with low bitterness. Light to medium bodied, quite foamy carbonation. Clean and harmless.

Medium brown with a white head and decent lacing. Malty nose with a suggestion of hops. Moderate darker crystal malt flavor mixed with roast nuts and a medium body. Very smooth. Slightly bitter finish.
