A great, tasty brown ale; one of my favorites. Nice brown color, suttle aroma, no bad aftertaste. A very nice beer in general.

A good brown ale, nothing fancy, pretty basic and not too tastey. Nice malt and hope flavor. The head retention seemed a little poor, nice brown color. This is a beer college kids drink that think they are getting fancy.

Nice, semi-transparent brown body with sparse thin head tracing on glass...hints or green bottle metallics...the maltiness presents little uniqueness...tremendous carbonation! lively curving of the beer around the tongue...a bit of nut--and a lot of malt...a classic in brand name, smooth and aggressive...enjoyable and versatile, and mainstream enough to be served at barbecues and holiday parties...

A sold beer that is always a good choice, brown sih with a very thin head. A good beer to keep a fridge stocked with as everyone likes it

On draft. Pours with a thin head, that vanishes fast. There’s a faint malt aroma; nothing all that strong. The beer is a reddish-brown color. It seemed darker than I remembered from the bottle version. There’s a smooth malt flavor with a bit of nuttiness. Very little hops. Not much after taste. This is one of the "fall back" beers locally when there’s not other craft beers available.

Was one of my favorites when i really started to enjoy good beer. I would have to say a solid brew. On the top of my list of things to order when out to dinner and the place has no good beers.

Well balanced and malty, goes down easily. Easy drinking bitter that doesn’t set the world on fire.
