Brown. Polished. Nutty. Nice beige head. Too light of body, would be better If more malt was used.

Overly sweet and malty without any discernable hop character. Good training beer.

Available filtered and pasteurised in keg and bottle. Newcastle Brown Ale was first brewed in 1927 in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England, by Jim Porter after three years of development. Production moved from Newcastle to Gateshead at the end of 2004 and to Tadcaster on closure of the Dunston brewery in 2010.

From notes, bottle at some pub in Tokyo. Served in a pint glass. An amber brown pour with a thin creamy beige head. The aroma/flavor was sweet grainy caramel, a touch too sweet for my tastes.

una classica brown ale inglese. Nulla di eccezionale. l’uso di estratti di malto ne priva il corpo della giusta consistenza

Flaska från systemet - Något sur doft, väldigt genomskinlig. Smak av karamell och bra kolsyrad.

Bottle. Cheap ticks. Woot!
A: Cloudy brown with an off-white head. Some lacing.
N: Grains, some toffee, biscuit, and cracker. Damp leaf earthiness.
T: Lightly sweet and bitter. Touch muddy.
M: Light body with creamy carb. No alcohol.
O: Light inoffensive fare. It has a touch of flavor to stay interesting and remains quaffable.

Bottle @ De Tolly joogipood, Tartu, Estonia.
Pours with light brown head that reduces in a moment. Aroma of pine tree, caramel malt, butter. Taste of mild bitterness, butter, moderate sweetness, malty caramel, not strong tastes though. Overall I think it´s very much lager-like, light to drink, nothing really special.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
The aroma isn’t as strong as I would like. It pours amber with a white head that does produce some lacing. It has a bit too much carbonation for my taste which takes away from the malted flavors and overall experience.
