Clear (ugh) bottle. Body is a thin-looking chestnut color with a thin layer of bubbles on top that have all but disappeared by now. Mild aromas of earthy and musty nuttiness are slightly underdeveloped and give way to a flavor that is much of the same. It sports a nutty backbone with some toffee malt presence and a touch of dusty earth and a sort of sweet finish with a bit of bitterness in the late aftertaste.

(Draught at Gastropub Soho, Tampere, on 2008-03-07) Dark brown, some red. Hardly any head. Sweel malty nose. Some roasted malt bitterness in taste.

An average brown ale. Never understood the fuss. Lightly malty, bitter, medium bodied with an average mouthfeel.

Light brown, smells light brown and tastes light brown. Not much flavor and an off bitterness and moldy nuts. Drinkable at best.

Meilleur en fut, à cause de sa bouteille claire, bien qu’elle n’est pas mauvaise dans ce forma. Ce n’est pas aussi épais que la plus par des brunes, arome de café mocka légé.

A good brown ale, nothing fancy, pretty basic and not too tastey. Nice malt and hope flavor. The head retention seemed a little poor, nice brown color. This is a beer college kids drink that think they are getting fancy.
