With me being a lad from North East England, I’ve grown up with this being my local drink, alongside Double Maxim Ale, and despite its reputation for being "fighting juice" it’s still one of my favourites. Sweet smell, with a caramel-like flavour.

An excellent beer and one of my all time favorites. Why have another beer when you can drink a Newcastle?

(brown, rocky head, light sweetness, lightly bitter, lightly sour, full body, soft carbonation, long finish, ) This is what it suggested for beginners to rate. This is what I thought newcastle was like from the choices available, but my real rating is as follows: I belive Newcastle brown ale to be one of the finest beers I have ever drank. Every time this beer hits my lips a smile crosses my face. Fair price for this beer too. For a college kid its a delicacy.
