My favorite beer to drink (so far) when I want to drink more than just a few and I’m not at a bar or otherwise with access to a keg. It tastes very good, with hardly any aftertaste, and is very drinkable, although for some reason I think it’s usually better in the bottle than it is on tap, despite the fact that the bottles are clear.

Very good brown ale. One of my favorites. Easily available in bottles. Distinct taste, pours with a moderate head, drinks extremely smooth.

One of my favorite beers. Sweet, pleasing aroma. Caramel, nut flavor with a smooth finish. No hops detected. Slightly thin mouthfeel. Goes great with food.

Pours a dark brown with off white head. Smells of caramel and malt with a hint of coffee. Taste is hard candy with molasses and some malt flavors. Medium body with a sweet aftertaste.

Pours a nice golden brown with thin head, Nice toffee aroma, sweet and nutty, malty that balances well with the hops, an excellent and readily available beer

Newcastle has a great bitter taste that goes well as a dinner beer. The pour usually leaves a small head that dissipates quickly. Newcastle is a great beer to take to most casual parties.

I had my first Newcastle tonight and I was damn pleased. Dark, rich brown color. No head to speak of but the beer does have enough body to fill you up a bit. Great flavor, kind of a caramel, chocolate type thing it’s got going. Real tasty.
