Had it on tap at Darby O Gills in Levittown PA. A great darker amber color. Nice off white head. Malty smell, also hints of figs. Smells great. Great malty taste, with a great bitterness. I like this brown ale a lot!

Jul 7, 2008 Bottle: A nice balance of nuttiness and malt in the nose and palate. Well-balanced with a rich and creamy mid-palate. This has always been an enjoyable one for me.

Jul 5, 2008 A few days ago, I had my first bottle of this beer in many years, but I drank a lot of it at one point in my college days, so expect my review to be tainted with a touch of nostalgia.
Nice brown ale with a small off-white head. Aroma is lightly malty. Flavor is malty and nutty with a touch of caramel sweetness. Easy to drink and enjoy with some friends and much better than most mass-produced beers. Overall, a pretty simple beer and honestly quite watery, but its still pretty good to me.

Not anything particularly intense flavourwise but very drinkable and tasty none the less, someone here said tastes like a good homebrew, a good way to sum it up.
