Dynamic, articulate, perceptive, couragoues, outspoken, just a few of the adjectives that inadequately describe...NEWCASTLE!

Straight from the bottle. Clear amber/brown color with an off white head. Sweet malt and very slight bitterness aroma. Bittersweet malt, caramel and faint hop flavors. I’ll give it one thing, it’s very easy to drink unlike some other shitty brews like Bud, Miller or Coors (not to mention all the other crap Mex beers).

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a pint glass. Aroma- Has a strong malt flavor but smelled stale Appearance- pours an amber brown with a tan head. Taste- Heavy malt flavor with some caramel but it tastes old Palate- Medium bodied beer with moderate carbonation. Overall- a truly average beer, pretty forgettable.

Pours deep, dark amber. A little bit roast and chocolate, a kind of a sweetish bitterness, so neither taste dominates over another too much. Easy and smooth to drink, even if it’s not exactly exciting.

Bottle from de Albert Heijn. The beer is amber colored and has an unstable cream colored head, with average carbonation. The aroma is earthy, sweet from the caramel and some hints of roasted malts are noticable. The taste is smooth and complex, with hints of coffee and grains, to change into a light and sharp bitterness from the malts. The finish is sharp, watery and short. Nothing special, little watery taste but well drinkable.

Average English beer. Exactly what you expect it to be. Drinks fine, not one to return to.
