Dynamic, articulate, perceptive, couragoues, outspoken, just a few of the adjectives that inadequately describe...NEWCASTLE!

Het bier is licht donker en mist helaas een schuimkraag. Afdronk is droog en licht bitter. En wat waterig.

Ottima brown ale classica con sentori leggermente fruttati e allo stesso tempo tostati. Buona beverinità e ottimo corpo. ---Rated BY Italianbeer85

0,55 l bottle, best before 31/10/2015. Looks great: clear, dark amber or mahogany with a huge, foamy, slowly diminishing, tan head. The aroma is quite grassy with some hints of caramel, nuts and raisins. Quite good actually. Taste is rather sweet (almost artificially) with notes of caramel, nuts and raisins. A bit of licorice, too. Short, empty, low bitter finish. Thin to medium body, fizzy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Not a bad beer but not the crown of the art of brewing as well. Maybe a classic, but not really classy.

Low head, dark copper colored beer. Very clear. Hugely oxidized, most likely cause of fully transparent (colorless) bottle. Hints of coffee and wet rag. Medium bitterness. Low sweetness. A little bit sour on finish. High carbonated. Light to medium body, frothy texture. Astringent.

Draft in shaker. Reddish brown with thin trace of foam, light carbonation. Mildly bitter edge to malt flavor, watery thin body. Brief bitter finish, not a very interesting brown ale.

Bottle split at the Cotteridge Convention, thanks to the Osprey, 24/01/15. Probably the first time I’ve had a Newcy brown for something like 8 or 9 years? Was the drink of choice at Uni when feeling flush over 99p a pint cask Boddies! Clear dark amber with a moderate off white covering. Nose is malt, toffee, biscuit, rather muted. Taste comprises sweet malt, tooffee, light nutty strains. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. A touch sweet - more so than I remember. Pretty meh.

Sabor poco intenso, realmente no sé si la tomé a su temperatura ideal, pero la encontré bastante insípida. Sé que al publico general, la encontrará como una buena opción, ya que entra bien, pero no veo la diferencia de entre beber esto y un agua con gas.

Copenhagen 25/10 2014. Shared 50 cl can from Netto. Pours dark copper with light brown head. Settles slowly. Aroma with malts and hints. Low carbonation. Light taste with malty sweetness and a little toffee. A little bitterness in aftertaste.
