Much better on tap; bottles okay, but it tastes very metallic on the portable keg. Doesn't last well if left in the room temperature for too long but very refreshing and drinkable when cold. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Spar. Aroma toasted, fruity, dried fruits. Clear ruby-brown colour. Rather quickly disappearing head. Taste is bearing skunky notes of lightstruck which show despite the otherwise rich malty flavour. Toasted, dried fruits. Somewhat syrupy and raw. Lightstruck mostly in finish. Very thin bodied. Not bad, not exactly great either. Average.

I don’t normally like brown ales, but I enjoy Newcastle. Light and good for session drinking

330 bottle. Golden brown, sweet taste with hints of nuts and caramel. Very watery , only minimal aftertast and aroma. Refreshing like drinking Coca cola... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours golden brown with medium head. Caramel, nuts, bread and a bit sweet. And watery. But nice

Damn I’ve never rated this. Honestly this was a decent "bridge" beer for me back in the early 2000s as I traded up from yellow crappy.

Quite OK session beer. Nutty, caramelly, sweet. Toffee notes. Slightly watery, but that’s to be expected. They shouldn’t package it in clear glass bottles, though.

It pours a light brown with a fluffy off-white head and nice lacing. The aroma is nutty and caramel. The taste is nuts and caramel malt. It’s smooth. It’s a good session beer.

From a bottle. Not as much head as expected, nice mild nutty flavour, much better fresh.

Gyllenbrun farge med off-white skum. Mye nøtter og noe knekkebrød i både duft og smak. Behagelig og myk munnfølelse
