Bottle. Golden color with a little hint of orange. White head dissipates quickly. Aroma is similar to Newcastle Brown but with more hops. That same caramel kind of aroma though. Taste follows the aroma pretty much exactly. Light to medium body. Not terrible, but won’t be buying again.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 dogbomb (632) - ENGLAND - FEB 22, 2013
Bottle. Dark honey pour with a quickly thinning offwhite head. Smell is nuts - hazelnuts, almonds and a whiff of chocolate in there. Taste is quite nutty chocolatey too. Like a slightly dried out ferrero rocher. A little cereal. a teensy bit of honey in the finish. Quite pleasant really. Like a lighter form of Brown Ale.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Hangover (980) - Atlanta, Alabama, USA - FEB 13, 2013
Copper, orangish pour with a big white head. Aroma is non-descript and malty. Mouthfeel is a bit bitter, and there is a slight metallic tinge. Malt dominates the flavor profile, nothing spectacular but to be honest it works somehow. Reminds of of Brooklyn Brewery actually.

Copper with white head. Mild to non-existent aroma. Bitter chalk. I hope this was a bad bottle. I will not be finishing it.

Bottle from Capone’s. Pours clear deep copper with 1-finger off-white head that laces well. Nose is bitter hops, caramel malt, mild fruit. Tastes of caramel malt, pretty smooth, with bittering hops, mild fruit, and a medium palate density and complexity level.
