Decent pale ale. Not usually my favorite style but this is definitely a sesh beer. Decent hop/malt mix and a sweet finish, get this and drink the whole six pack.

Really not that good. I love Newcastle Brown Ale so I bought a case of this but I was really disappointed!

Bottle. Pretty bland. Newcastle of all kinds taste the same. Nothing great here. Ok

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Very little aroma - slightly grassy and woodsy. Not much to the taste really - rather weak. Slight metallic taste, some sweetness, a bit of caramel and hops. No bitterness at all - this is classed as an ESB? Disappointing.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz bottle into a regular glass.
A: Pours a clear copper color. The head is a one finger offwhite shade. In particular, I enjoy how creamy it looks topping this brew off. As it recedes, a semi-solid ring of lacing is left behind.
S: Some caramel sweetness augments a slight ping of fruit esters. Hops are (sadly) almost imperceptible, but this isnít turribly fresh, either. It smells okay. Pretty middle of the road, though.
T: The flavor to me seems a bit nuttier than what the aroma suggested. Mainly, though, itís still sodden with caramel and faint fruity esters on the opening. I can even pick up slight chocolate at times. It really dries up on the finish, with only a slight tea leaf note to break up the monotony. Not bad.
M: Thereís a dry note on the back end that makes me think of Guinness. Or Bass. This creates good drinkability at the cost of gutted palate duration. Ah well, the latter doesnít really mean much considering what this is. Itís easy to drink.
O: Itís alright, I guess. Come to think of it, this lived up to my expectations perfectly - by being completely average in almost all aspects. Among macros, Iíve had FAR worse.

Poured a clear medium dark copper with a tall foamy light tan head that was slightly creamy on top. The head dropped to about half an inch in a few minutes. The aroma was a mild bread/bisquit with some caramel malt. The beer had a bit of a thin texture and a light metallic taste up front. There was a hint of dryness in the taste and just a little bit of a tart finish. The best thing I can say about this beer was that it looked great in the glass. Overall it was not much to speak of. It was drinkable and ok, but nothing to write home about. When I saw it for $4.99 a six pack I said this is either no good or the store got a deal on a big purchase.

I got this beer on super sale under five bucks for a six pack at my local grocery store in Oregon. I found it very palatable and pretty tasty. If it keeps being such a good deal I will definitely include it in my summer camping beer selection.

It pours a rich yellow color. It has a decent amount of head. It has a pleasant aroma of bread baking. The taste is a pleasant combination of caramel, biscuits, fruit and toffee. It has a light bitter finish. Overall a pleasant beer on a hot day.
