Serving: from tap at Doyleís Public House. Aroma: lightly malty. Appearance: small, creamy, off-white, initial head. Hazy, light-brown body. Taste: lightly sweet, malty, initial flavor and lightly acidic finish with average duration. Palate: medium body, creamy texture and soft carbonation. Overall: pretty good.

Bottle. Pours a clear light amber body with a small fizzy off-white head that faded to a thin film. The nose is sweet and fruity with some husky grain with a minimal hop note. The flavor is a little overly sweet for my tastes, itís like watery caramel with just a light bitterness on the finish. This doesnít do anything for me at all. Light bodied and a bit watery with fizzy carbonation. I really donít care for all the grape juice like fruitiness in here. Iíll pass on a second chance to try this one.

Bottle - Copper Bronze in colour - Malty; sweet toasty malts, light toffee. Fruity; apple. Hoppy; some grassy hops. Sweet malty fruity throughout. Drying finish. Not particularly exciting. Drinkable.

Really not that good. I love Newcastle Brown Ale so I bought a case of this but I was really disappointed!

Bottle. Pretty bland. Newcastle of all kinds taste the same. Nothing great here. Ok

(12oz bottle) Pours a clear amber body with a small white head. Aroma of biscuit, citrus, and caramel. Flavor of florals, herbs, biscuit, citrus, and caramel.

Bottle. Very little aroma - slightly grassy and woodsy. Not much to the taste really - rather weak. Slight metallic taste, some sweetness, a bit of caramel and hops. No bitterness at all - this is classed as an ESB? Disappointing.

12 oz bottle into a regular glass. A: Pours a clear copper color. The head is a one finger offwhite shade. In particular, I enjoy how creamy it looks topping this brew off. As it recedes, a semi-solid ring of lacing is left behind. S: Some caramel sweetness augments a slight ping of fruit esters. Hops are (sadly) almost imperceptible, but this isnít turribly fresh, either. It smells okay. Pretty middle of the road, though. T: The flavor to me seems a bit nuttier than what the aroma suggested. Mainly, though, itís still sodden with caramel and faint fruity esters on the opening. I can even pick up slight chocolate at times. It really dries up on the finish, with only a slight tea leaf note to break up the monotony. Not bad. M: Thereís a dry note on the back end that makes me think of Guinness. Or Bass. This creates good drinkability at the cost of gutted palate duration. Ah well, the latter doesnít really mean much considering what this is. Itís easy to drink. O: Itís alright, I guess. Come to think of it, this lived up to my expectations perfectly - by being completely average in almost all aspects. Among macros, Iíve had FAR worse.

Bottle, not poured. Malty grass aroma. Touch of caramel and some grainy after sense. Taste is malt, sweet start bit of a bitter afteraste. Easy drinking, session like. Good everyday drinker.

Bottle to pint - tea colored with a steady paper thin head. Malty aroma and a malty bready taste. Medium mouthfeel and somewhat watery.
