COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
"Formidable Beast". What better way to toast the fall than to have a bottle of this formidable, dual character brew. At first smooth with mellow overtones of sweet berry fruit, a bite of bitterness suddenly cuts through, long, deep and lingering. Brewed with Rye Malt, it is naturally "blood red" in colour. Unlike the mythical wolf-like creature said to roam the bleak moorland surrounding Newcastle, this is real, so consider yourself warned!

Bottle 500ml @ Geokkjer

330 ml bottle. Good looking, clear amber body with a medium sized dense off-white head that unfortunately disappears very fast. Strong aroma of caramel malt and not much more. Flavor is smooth and soft caramel malt, light toast, some fruitiness and moderate bitterness. Medium body and caramel in aftertaste. OK for a few sips, but rather one dimensional and frankly pretty boring.

Oh New Castle, you are among my spl favourite beer brewing company with fine brown ale and send me nice glass for drinking and beer nucleation. I see this at store and it remind me of fall. Such a nice time of year when I visit USA and watch leaves change colour. Cousin Omar invite me to party where many beauty lady dress like prostitute and men wear other costume of zombie and other monster. I try this beer for festive bottle design reminding me of this party. New Castle, I am dissapoint. I try this in my glass you send for maximum nucleation flavour. It taste bitter at finish like the time I kiss girls neck after she spray perfume. I will forgive you and purchase my fav brown ale next time.
