Tastes too fruity. If it was real werewolf it would taste meaty. Low alcohol content too, not ferocious.

Bottle. Pours dark red with medium lasting whitish head. Aroma is rye and wet paper. Flavour is rye, some hop and more paper. Finish is an unpleasant paper/cardboard finish.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
12oz bottle into a pint glass.
Pours a clear reddish brown with a thin fizzy head. No head retention or lacing at all.
Aroma of caramel, toffee, and dark fruits. A little noble hop characteristic as well.
The flavor has toasted malt and dark fruit. There is also some caramel and toffee. Kind of like regular newcastle with more roast and chocolate. Bitterness is quite light. The mouthfeel really was a let down on this beer as it is way too carbonated, almost like a soda.
Overall, I like regular Newcastle way better. The flavor profile is decent but the carbonation just throws it off. Not something I will pick up again.

2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Rich copper color. Small tan head. Malty and sweet aroma with an earthen character. It kinda has a sweet taste like cider. But its still good. You can taste the hops and the beer is not too sweet overall.

Pours a rusty red with an off white lasting frothy head with some lacing. Aroma and Taste of toasted caramel malt and grains, some fruity and grassy notes, a bit of chocolate malt and some mild bitterness. A medium body on the palates, some moderate carbonation and slightly crisp. Finish with some toasted caramel malt, fruity and grassy notes and mild hops bitterness. Aroma and flavor are a bit light. Overall an ok brew.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Was a red color (sort of like blood, I guess) and it was drinkable. And touch of fruit sweetness to the mostly bland slightly bitter base. Thin and watery. Not too good.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Out of the bottle from Uptown. Pours a dark brown color with a slightly off white head. Smell is a little sour and skunky. The taste is skunky and overly grainy. One of the worst beers that I have had. With that said, I am not a fan of their brown either.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
First impression is of distinct English malt aroma with some powdered chocolate and spearminty hops. Pours crystal clear dark brown with a thin wispy off-white head. No lacing. Thin bodied with a nice malt character. Finishes somewhat clumsily with a watery metallic twang.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pours a nice reddish brown. Chocolate and malt on the nose. Unfortunately, to quote Ralph Wiggum...."it tastes like burning". Starts out like a slightly hopped up Newcastle Brown, then just goes wrong at the finish with a bad burnt meat/copper penny aftertaste. It really tastes like someone tossed a charcoal briquette and a roll of pennies into a keg. Disappointing.

2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Mediium brown with a reddish hue. Notes of phenol, musty rubber, and sweet malt on the nose. Yeasty sourdough and corn cereal taste. Light to medium body. Aftertaste is most unpleasant. I’d say it was thrown out of Britain.
