2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 ounce bottle. Pours a reddish-brown with a thine tan head that fades. Taste is of roasted malts, caramel, rye and some fruit. Similar aroma. Lighter body with a mostly clean finish. Not bad, I like it better cool, than cold.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Appearance: clear brown color, hues of deep amber, thick dense head
Aroma: coffee, malt, chocolate, fruit?, faint smelling
Taste: subtle coffee, hint of fruit
Palate: hint of coffee aftertaste
Overall: this bottle is a little beat up I don't know how it was handled before I received it, it's not very complex, highly drinkable of course bc it's from InBev

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Medium-light bodied, some astringency. At colder temperatures, there’s a slight whiskey quality. Flavors mellow and fall somewhat flat as it warms.

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
Not blood red as advertised. More light brown with ruby tint. Weak tasting. Some malt and berry taste with some bitter. Wouldn't buy again.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
bottle - Clear dark amber with a light tan head. It smells mainly of caramel malt with some grain. The flavor is sweet caramel, a touch of hops, and that’s about it. Light to medium bodied. Rather mediocre. So far I’m unimpressed with Newcastle’s efforts to get into the craft beer market.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Situation: Completed the holiday un-decorating...
Glassware: Rare Vos pint...
Appearance: quickly thinning off-white head to a pencil moustache...no lacing; body is dark orange and sparsely effervescent...
Aroma: buttery and malty, almost as a spirit with more potency--otherwise, much as a nut brown...
Palate: medium-bodied, thin and smooth--welcoming and simple...
Taste: slightly metallic, flat, malty and late hints of hops leave this beer oddly nondescript...
Overall: More of a chip/pretzel chaser than a stand-alone sessioon beer--not disappointing, but not upset by its "limited release" packaging either...

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
12oz bottle - pours clear amber with tan head and thin lacing. Nose is cereal and floral. Flavor adds light smoke, roasted malts, and metal. Reminds me of the Hudy Amber minus the cheese. Also reminds me of the Mississippi Mud Black and Tan. Fruity aftertaste. flavor is lightly sweet and moderately bitter. fairly flat. Not nearly as good as the regular Newcastle.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Drinking straight from the bottle, not to bad. Reminds me of a thicker heavier killians. Has a light caramel taste. Resignates on the pallate alright.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Pours a dark red/amber with one inch head that dissolves slowly. Thin taste, typical Newcastle finish. A nice mid range beer that drinks easily.
