Tastes too fruity. If it was real werewolf it would taste meaty. Low alcohol content too, not ferocious.

Its sweeter, maltier, hoppier and fizzier than Newcastle Brown which is my quaffable go to. I appreciate the effort. Mix half w/ Arrogant Bastard for a Bastard Werewolf!!! The hops cut the sweet. Its not bad w/ Bar b que! Cmon brothers lighten up and relish the amazing brew world we live in tday! Now if light beers were just made illegal...

Well, t’aint "blood red" as the label states, but it’s a deep amber in body. The "head" is an off-white film. The aroma is toffee and caramel and light brown sugar. The taste is sweetness, toffee and caramel. Unremitting. Too much for me to session at any time. With a name like "Werewolf," it should do more than gnaw away at my canines.
I wrote the above before seeing that this is classified at an ESB on the site. I’m flabbergasted.

A lot of plum/raisin and dark chocolate in the aroma, with sweetness that makes it candy-like. Similar flavor, with bitterness that balances the sweetness. Subtle pepper. Kind of a maraschino cherry-like finish.

16 Oz tap. Pours clear brown with a white head. Make aromas dominate: caramel and brown sugar. Medium sweetness with cereal grain, nut, and some prune. Finishes with long, herby hop linger. Medium body with a creamy mouthfeel and average carbonation. Overall, good malt, but pretty unidimensional.

Reddish brown, Sherry aroma. Light and easy drinking, crystal clear on the palate. Funky bitterness that I can't get past. Notes of cream soda aftertaste.

Flaska i LA. Dimmigt brun med vitt skum. Doft som en vanlig newcastle men med inslag av choklad och hallon. Smaken är vattnig med litw rostad malt. Lite bättre än originalet.

Smells just like Newcastle Nut Brown Ale mixed with coffee. Tastes just like Newcastle Nut Brown Ale mixed with cherries. Okay beer. Very middling beer - not good and not bad.

0.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
Amber brew with no head. Smelled of roasted malts and seemed inviting but the taste ruined it all. Did have a bit of roasted flavor but also tasted a bit like a cola. Even went down about like a cola, one that comes in a 2 litre bottle and was opened about 3 days ago. Yep, think i nailed it right there. It started as a plastic bottled cola and was opened, put into beer bottles, and shipped to the USA. Watered down garbage that doesn’t even live up to being worthy of such a creature as a werewolf. Should have named it Rabid Chuwahwah.

Pours a brown color with a very light tan head. Aroma is a bit nutty with some malt notes. Flavor matches with the addition of some more roasted flavors and a bit of spice. Seemed just like a darker, slightly more spiced version of the brown ale.
