Body is light to medium, malty and sweetish flavor, caramel - light toffee, light fruitiness. Finish is short to average, malty and sweetish, caramel - light toffee, faint hoppyness. Could use more hoppyness (and less caramel).
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 5000 (5000) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - DEC 22, 2012
Bottle:   Pale copper, clear, thin sudsy white head, little lacing.   Pale biscuity nose.   Slight ashtray.   Also mealy.   Similar on the tongue.   Very pedestrian and unoffensive, but overly simple.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   No changes on the finish... yawn.
2.7 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Stellaaaa (238) - Tennessee, USA - DEC 22, 2012
Pours a clear copper with a thick white head. The aroma is of wet malt and a hint of pine. The taste is of bitter, piney hops with a wet, metallic malty finish. Overall, pretty good! Opa!
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 johnnnniee (1563) - Bedford, New Hampshire, USA - DEC 19, 2012
Pours a brilliantly clear deep copper color with a huge fluffy white head that persists for a while before leaving a moderate amount of sticky lace on the sides of the glass. Smells of caramel and toffee with a fair bit of earthy hops and hints of butterscotch, mineral water and sulfur. The flavor is sweet with caramel, butterscotch, and brown sugar with a hint of chocolate. There’s a light bit of earthy hops, but IPA is a real stretch here. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet slick mouthfeel. Not a bad English pale/brown ale, I enjoyed drinking it, but it takes some huge balls to call this an IPA.
1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20 rumproasts (1190) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - DEC 19, 2012
bottle. amber with small head. dry malt and minimal hops. shouldn’t an IPA have some hoppiness? the little flavor that exists is unpleasant. not good at all.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 jimmie65 (312) - Texas, USA - DEC 18, 2012
Dark amber pour with an off-white head, looked more like tea than beer. Aroma is sweet floral, grassy. Not much bitter for an IPA, with a sweet finish. Flavors of malt, caramel, toffee.
Doesn’t really taste like an IPA. It’s an OK pale ale.

heavy enough peat and steel the beer is earthy and has a bit of pine in the suds if rolled violently. never knew an ipa to have a predominent mild taste of cherry. creamy is a bit of a stretch.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Garbageman (368) - Lexington, South Carolina, USA - DEC 16, 2012
From bottle. Pours copper/red in color with small head. Milt aroma of hops and malt. Taste is bread malt, with sweetness and great hop crispness to finish.
