2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Serving: 12 oz. bottle from Wegmans Leesburg. It pours a deep amber color with an off white head. The nose fruity with notes of berries and cherry. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel and a light fruitiness. A very light bitterness on the back end. Very one dimensional and unimpressive. Medium body with average carbonation and a short finish. Pedestrian.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours clear amber, large carbonation in body. Immediately noticed an astringent front, with mild metallic flavors into the finish. Some caramel and grassy, with a weak body. Bottle.

Poured clear gold in color. Faint grassy aroma. Taste was somewhat unexpected: grassy, muddy and a bit metallic, with a clean finish.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tastes good, at first. It kind of tastes like it was sweetened artificially to hode something. Not an IPA despite the lable.

12 oz bottle. Medium brown with no head. Smells like a certain illegal substance. Taste is of an awful wine my sister made me try once. Finishes sweet. A step above hog urine.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours an ominously dark color for an IPA. Almost brown, maybe burnt orange, with an off-white head. Candy-like sweetness on the nose. Lots of sugar and toffee. No real hop presence at all. Maybe a light spiciness? The flavor is of water and toffee, maybe a bit of caramel. Again, almost no hop presence to be found, not even any bitterness. Not good at all.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
I agree with most of these other posts that this beer is terrible... Its a product of the macro-breweries trying to compete with microbreweries and I would hardly call this an IPA.... Minimal hop character or bitterness, very bland flavor... Stick to the brown...

1.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
I bought a single bottle of this as part of a M&M 6-pack from Binny’s in Downer’s Grove, IL for $9.99 in Early 2012.
Pours a medium amber color with a slight head. Scent has some bitterness to it, but it smells more like an adjunct lager. Wow, this one you have to try and not in a good way. The texture is light and dry but finishes with a harsh bitter after taste. Overall the taste is barely better than a cheaply made malt liquor. It’s not going to be easy finishing this off. Definitely avoid.
