0.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
A bland aroma a touch of malt and the faintest, and I mean faintest hint of caramel.
The appearance is a light amber. Bland. I found little of note in the flavours. A slight, very slight hint of nut and caramel. There was nothing hoppy in it at all. Very little carbonation.
Overall a disgracefully poor beer, it has been a long time since I have given up half way and poured a drink down the sink.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle 355ml from Quack-Duck thanks ! A clear copper beer, nose is almost empty !! Aroma is on industrial caramel, some bitter hops but on the aroma side there is nothing, donno what they really wanted to do. The average UK pale ale are more hopy than this one, I haven’t felt the creamy finish. Anyway happy to had opportunity to get this bottle.

1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Aroma is a bit bready and roasty, not very IPAish, although it obviously should be. Doughy, almost skunky aroma. The appearance is pretty much completely brown, although it’s not a thick brown, it’s fairly transparent and clear. The taste has a light sweetness and medium-heavy bitterness. Body is lighter, with a thin texture and average/above average carbonation factor. The finish follows through with the aroma and initial hit to the palate, pretty astringent tasting, takes a bit to clear.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottled 14/09/13. A brown beer with a grey head. A malty beer with brown fruits. A fusty edge. Sweet and low hopped. It does want it sets out to do quite well and there’s nothing nasty but it is a bit shallow.

ChrisO’s Pre GBBF ’Are You Scottish?’ tasting. Almost clear gold - amber . Little white head. Light dry palate with fine carbonation. Sweetish papery malt. Whisper of lemon and orange citric hops. Dry finish. To papery and malty!
