3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cask conditioned at Far From the Madding Crowd, Oxford. Amber with white head. Quite a malty, dry, grainy bitter, there is a bit of a worty, mashy character, a little boiled veg. Didn’t stand up too well against the other good beers available.

Cask. Golden with a firm white head. Aromas are biscuit and caramel with grain and light apple. Soft spices with bready toast. Mellow lemon with hints of ginger. Flavours are dry biscuit with pepper. Soft lemon with a light, green leafiness. Very dry to finish. Decent.
