Draft. Clear pale gold beer. Creamy malt. Apple and grapefruit citrus hops, quite mild. Refreshing.

On cask (handpump) at Great British Beer Festival, day 3 on 6 August 2009. Gold / amber colour. Easygoing. Moderate bitterness with a light bite on the finish. Mellow mouthfeel. Quite refreshing.

Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet fruit apple, honey ? Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is light medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090806]

Dark golden with a small white head. Perfumed floral and fruity aroma. Grainy and fruity malt flavour with a slightly acrid touch

Hop aroma. Golden coloured fruity and hoppy with a pale and very bitter lasting finish.

Cask at GBBF 2009. Gold, lasting cream head. Earthy fruity hop aroma. As I’ve come to expect from Newman’s, a good beer. Bit of farty yeast/earth great condition though.

A mild and rounded Welsh bitter enjoyed in friendly company with other ratebeerians at the hat day, GBBF 09. Golden-amber body. Leafy hops to the nose. The taste character is a successful mix of late and fresh, blonde fruits. Well balanced bitterness to a satisfying finish (Earls Court, 06.08.2009).

Golden-amber color, small steady white head. Fresh wood hoppy aroma. Lime peel citrusy hoppy flavor. Lingering citrusy hoppy aftertaste. Fruity.

Cask@GBBF2009. Hazy orange colour, small white foamy head. Aroma is wood, nectar, some grass and mild notes of dough. Flavour is citrusfruits, mango, mild spices, herbs and wood as well.

Cask-conditioned at the Victoria Family & Commercial, Leeds 23/06/09. Indifferent golden ale with a light, dry aroma, sweetish malt flavour and dry, apricot finish. Ok.
