Blonde coloured body with a bright white head. Aroma of light malt, a touch of alcohol and very little else. Medium to Light-bodied; Fresh malt flavour with a hint of citrus and not much else except hay. Aftertaste is quite minimal in complexity with only some light malt and citrus coming through. Overall, not such a great beer, but nice in the heat of Southern California. I sampled this pint on draught at the brewpub with haddon90 in Newport Beach, California on 27-August-2011.

A: The beer pours a pale straw color with a short lived white head.
S: Smells almost entirely like corn. Maybe just a slight graininess to it. Some grassy hop notes as well as some straw. Perhaps a touch of bread if I’m feeling generous.
T: A mild bitterness which is pretty much expected for a blonde ale. Like the nose, tons of corn with just a hint of grain/malt and bread. Minimal grassy hop contributions.
M: Light in body with a medium level of carbonation.
O: Light and corny, not really my thing.

Light body with flavors of sweet malt and grassy hops. The finish is malty with a sweet grain aftertaste. Average overall.

Aroma is faint lemon and pale malt dust. Appearance is blond as it should be with a thin white head. Tastes a little bit like a beefed up pale lager. Not sure that I’m buying the bolder flavor in this blonde ale. Meh.
