On draft at NBBC. This is a nicely done APA. It hits you with a great hoppy aroma, and backs it up with a good flavor. This was very solid.

By far my favorite beer from the sampler. Friends at our table didn’t finish their full pint of this, so I got to enjoy even more. Aroma is of fresh hops, appearance is copper with a frothy head. Tastes like a good IPA should (surprisingly labeled as just a pale ale, especially considering that it is dry hopped). Really delicious smooth bitter finish.

Clear golden-amber body. Aroma is moderately sweet, grapefruit, caramel. Taste is medium sweet, caramel and grapefruit up top, finishing strong grapefruit. Decent bitterness but does not linger much. Medium body.

Draft at the brewpub.
Light copper pour with a fizzy white head. Hops are very present in this beer, aroma and flavor, very nice for a pale ale. Flavor lingered on the tongue for quite a bit, overall very good and very drinkable.

Slightly orange coloured blonde body with a little white head. Aroma of fresh hops, light malt and a good citrus and grapefruit scent. Medium-bodied; Potent fresh hops show well, with a good malt backbone and some other light herbal tastes. Aftertaste shows a bit of grass, some light yeast and a good dose of citrus and grapefruit hops, all with a good malt backbone. Overall, a nice pale that shows well and leaves the mouth slightly puckered from the bitterness. I sampled this pint on draught at the brewpub with haddon90 in Newport Beach, California on 27-August-2011.

Amber color, small white head. Nice aroma of hops, with a big grapefruit hoppy and citrus flavor. Minimal sweetness and bitter finish.

Draft at the brewpub. Clear amberish pour, sticky white head. Citrusy hops, light tropical fruit, grapefruit, and background of caramel malt and bread. Nice pale, one of the better offerings.

On tap at NBBC. The best pale ale I have had in a while. Color was dark gold with an off white head. Aroma was nice with a good amount of citrus and flowers. Flavor was nicely balanced with flowers and citrus again in the finish. Nicely hopped for the style, and the dry hopping was not that pronounced. Sessionable and good.

Dark gold pour. Floral nose with slight citrus notes. Big "C" hop bite. This is your standard big hopped up west coast ipa.

UPDATED: OCT 4, 2010 Sample at the brewpub. The beer pours a clear orange color with a medium white head that diminishes steadily to a film. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of piney hops and sweet malt. Medium body with a moderately hoppy character that has pine and citrus notes. Sweet grainy malt in the background as well. The finish is hoppy with a short somewhat bitter aftertaste. Decent overall.
