Slightly cloudy golden pour with a white head. Nose is bready malt, banana, and some hints of citrus. Tons of clove, a nice yeast note, and some subtle tartness. The flavor has a nice combination of banana and clove. Plenty of bread malt flavor and sweetness, mild citrus peel, and a subtle bitterness.

Draft at the brewpub. Cloudy gold pour, white head. Banana, wheat, lemon, and clove. Nice hefe, would be nice on a hot day.

Sampled on 4/18/2010 at the brewery/brewpub. This wheat beer pours a slightly cloudy medium gold color from the tap. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is banana and clove, wheaty and citrusy. A light to medium bodied wheat. The malts are cereal and grainy with a bunch of banana and clove. The hops are a touch floral and a little citrusy. Good carbonation. Nice balance between the banana and clove and the citrusy hops. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

On tap a few weeks back. Poured a hazy gold color with a smallish head. Aroma was really nice and what I look for in this style; sweet wheat, banana and spice. Flavor was also quite tasty. Banana and fruit, with a bit of dryness and spice in the finish. Thought this was excellent for the style.

Tap @ the brewpub. Poured a very hazy yellow with an off-white head. Served with a lemon. Smooth clove over wheaty citrus makes up the aroma. Wheaty citrus flavor to start. Clove finish with light banana. Some cereal notes. Light smooth spice. Light-medium body.

OC Tour, tap at brewpub: Cloudy gold hue with small head and some lace. The aroma has notes of lemon and banana ester, wheat and clove, bubblegum. The taste is fruity and wheaty with some bready and spicy notes. The body is too thin and watery. An average brew that is more towards a Hefeweizen than American Wheat Ale.
