Bottle shared by Irishboy. Pour murky brown with no head. Aroma suggests sour mash with dark fruits and dark malt. Med body. No sour in the flavor. Flavor is lightly oxidized malt with darker fruit like raisin and dates. Tending to seem thinner with time. A beer that aged well. Very refined.

Red orange BW with no head. Classic BW aroma of grapes, molasses and candy sugar. Sweet hoppy concoction with oily mouthfeel and florral hops. Rich, and rather simple. Enjoyed at YEHa!05 Christmas Party on Dec. 17th, 2005.

Bottle... Hazy, ruby ale with a small, creamy, beige head. The aroma blasts the senses with heavy notes of dried plum and sorghum molasses. The flavor is well-balanced and lightly tangy with lots of malt and even more bittering hops. Very port-like. Boozy. Medium-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and light carbonation. Finishes Flemish with drying alcohol. Good brew, but could have used a couple more years in the bottle.
