Cryotek (206), Pawtucket, Rhode Island, USA Jan 27, 2008 An almost clear, merky, copper amber color. Smells very sweet, pumpkin pie, and cinnamon nutmeg scent. Definitely smells and tastes more like a good pumpkin pie than just regular pumpkin. Smooth, meduim feel, easy to drink. Maybe a little watery and a little to sugary. Has some tea flavor qualities also. If you like pumkin ales, i imagine you would like this, i did. I really enjoy the cyclone series, and this one is another good beer to add to the collection. Not a super great beer, but not too bad either.
CaptainCougar (4624), Rockville, Maryland, USA Jul 30, 2008 Pours a transparent orange bronze with a thin, wispy-lacing off-white head. Aroma of sweet toasty caramel malt and fresh pumpkin with a touch of cinnamon spice. Body starts fairly full with good sweetness and pumpkin flavor throughout well balanced with mild spice. An enjoyable pumpkin ale. jasonp (1440), Sterling/Dulles, Virginia, USA Jul 4, 2008 Bottle, courtesy of Argo0. Clear copper with a white head. Nutmeg, allspice and pumpkin in the nose. Caramel, spiciness, nutmeg, pumpkin and earthy hops. Medium bodied with a smooth texture and moderate carbonation. Pretty solid. IrishBoy (2111), Bakersfield, California, USA Jun 25, 2008 12 oz bottle from alldaydrinker; nose of pumpkin, cinnamon, and nutmeg; lightly hazy orange with a small, yellow-tinged head; flavor is very spicy pumpkin, with the nutmeg, then cinnamon showing up, not too sweet, with a slightly bitter finish. Pretty good pumpkin ale! dchmela (686), Orlando, Florida, USA Apr 9, 2008 Courtesy RomanW70. Pours a hazy amber with a thick white head. Big malty pumpkin aroma with hints of cinnamon and spices. Taste is malty and pumpkin with spices, a little like a pumpkin pie. Finishes a little thick, but tasty overall. RomanW70 (284), Providence, Rhode Island, USA Mar 26, 2008 Pours cloudy light copper. Aroma of pumpkin, cinnamon. Immediate taszte is cinnimon, followed by sweet malts, with a slightly bitter finish of hops and cinnimon. Fun beer, and hass some nice components, but the cinnimon dominates a bit much.
