On tap in Newport back in May. Pours an orange - amber color with little to no head. Malt and bread in the nose. Light bodied with notes of roasted malt and bread flavors. A very simple beer, nothing impressive about this one.

Hazy copper with white head. Sweet floral aroma. Taste is sweet malt and little hops. Kind of a muted fruit bowl as a drink. Enjoyable.

12oz bottle from Georgio’s, Billerica, MA. A hazy golden amber pour with scummy cream head; malty aroma; fruity malt taste; with a sweet biscuity finish. Very drinkable.

Great amber color. It’s drinkable and not too dark but nothing special about the flavor.

Bottle. Stale barley malt aroma. Hazy amber with a small off-white head. Cardboard barley malt, and light bitter hop flavor. Light body, moderate carbonation. Freshest before March indicated on the bottle, which explains the poor flavor.

Bottle to glass. A solid hoppiness, but I'm disappointed that the bitterness isn't balanced by a broader flavor profile. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12/31/2013. From bottle. Amber color with a white head. Malty aromas with caramel and light fruit. Malt and caramel flavors and not much else going on.

Rating #807 - December 5, 2013 - Beer 5 from the Craft BeerAdvent Calendar. Bottle, 5.2%. Clear amber pour with a decent white foam, little retention. Aroma is oversteeped tea and sharp cheddar. Taste is surprising given the aroma, just a bland tasting, much too grainy amber ale with an unpleasant mouthfeel and little else of value. Worst of the calendar so far by a good margin.

Bottle, day 5 of Craft Beer Advent Calendar 2013. Medium amber, clear, average white head. Sweet buttery caramel, almost oaky in character, a touch of amaretto, fruity nuances. Strange, not that great-- the worst of the bunch thus far.

The beer poured nicely but was a little cloudy which was unexpected for an Amber Ale. It smelled okay with a yeasty bread smell and some sweetness. The taste was atrocious however with a very bad oily aftertaste. I wasn’t sure if I was going to finish this beer or not. Would not recommend and it paints a bad light of the brewery.

12oz brown bottle from Craft Beer Advent Calendar ’13. Hazed honey gold colour, good sized beige foam on top. Nose has caramel malt, raw malt extract nose, brown sugar. Taste has caramel, light toasted notes, cardboard Light finish, a bit of malt. Watery and thin body. Not great, this really reminds me of a bad homebrew.
