On tap in Newport back in May. Pours an orange - amber color with little to no head. Malt and bread in the nose. Light bodied with notes of roasted malt and bread flavors. A very simple beer, nothing impressive about this one.

Draft. Not bad, typical amber ale. Caramel malt notes with a touch of pine and citrus hops. On the earthy side. Easy, simple. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at the brewery. Clear amber pour with a white head. Malty aromas. Bread and malty highlights. A bit simplistic and somewhat bland. Average body and mouthfeel.

All the time, all formats, all over the place... This time poured from a can. Pours a dark amber, thin white head. Aroma is caramel, bready malt, faint earth hop. Flavor is heavy malt, sweet caramel, earth hop on back end. Medium body, semi sweet, malt bomb.. Slight hop on finish. A staple to the Newport scene.

Hazy copper with white head. Sweet floral aroma. Taste is sweet malt and little hops. Kind of a muted fruit bowl as a drink. Enjoyable.

12oz bottle from Georgio’s, Billerica, MA. A hazy golden amber pour with scummy cream head; malty aroma; fruity malt taste; with a sweet biscuity finish. Very drinkable.

Great amber color. It’s drinkable and not too dark but nothing special about the flavor.

Bottle. Stale barley malt aroma. Hazy amber with a small off-white head. Cardboard barley malt, and light bitter hop flavor. Light body, moderate carbonation. Freshest before March indicated on the bottle, which explains the poor flavor.

Bottle to glass. A solid hoppiness, but I'm disappointed that the bitterness isn't balanced by a broader flavor profile. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
