Terminus (3342) - Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA - JAN 2, 2015
Bottle-sampled from Beer of the month club 12pk Pours very dark brown with a very dark red hue, not very dark for a porter. Very small kacki head that didnt last long. Nose is big coca, char, lite metallic notes, maybe some wintery spicy notes, big on the metallic char though. flavors are pretty similar however there is a lot of metallic and char notes here however, it doesnt do much in terms of complexity. very burnt finish with lots of ash notes. Palate is very thin with very little carbonation. Overall, its not a terrible beer, but its not great either.
