joet (1624), Fulton, California, USA Mar 11, 2008 was hoping for some authentic cider flavors here. just a little bit of real apple tannins. I want about 1000 times more. As it is it’s not horrible and you can tell there’s something here just not in spades. More earthy and tannic character and about the same aroma as our local Ace cider. a Point for some texture.
CapFlu (3340), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada Sep 16, 2008 (Bottle) Pours a near clear, mildly carbonated. Nose of spice, milk and apple rind. Nice carbonation, tart front with smooth tonic finish. Average. 6/3/5/2/11 stchloe (197), Portland, Oregon, USA Sep 7, 2008 Just like the other draft, pretty sure there is no difference. Sweet and cider like, not much else. Enniskillen (1589), Port Angeles, Washington, USA Aug 3, 2008 Looks like 7 up pretty much. Aroma is lightly tart with some sweetness, light vinegar. Taste is light vinegar, green apples. dwyerpg (2094), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Jul 25, 2008 Looks light like the inside of an apple. Flavor is sweeter than the other and more apply. Finish is much sweeter and a little more coating, but quite good, and I think, better overall. EithCubes (1823), Indiana, USA Jul 13, 2008 Green-glassed bottle from Trader Joe’s. Less cloying nose than its "normal" brother. Pour is extremely clear - it’s no exaggeration to say most tap water in New York City is darker. No head. Taste is cloying sugar, cotton-candy style without the verve, not quite tart enough to register but there’s still a whisper. Relatively smooth, watery body. Goes down easier than vodka, at least. Absolutely nothing here.
