Commercial Description:
English term for a well hopped ale. Best Bitter is only found on draught. Although examples of this style beer vary widely, the name implies a depth of hop bitterness. The colour varies from gold to copper. Best bitters are more robust than ordinary Bitter Ales with a medium body and medium residual sweetness. A Best Bitter has more of a hop character than an ordinary Bitter Ale.

I don’t think that i would ever classify this as a bitter. It is an american style pale ale, with good depth of hop bitterness and flavour with a strong citrus/flowery/herbal aromas that reveal the use of the cascade hops-and lots of it. It’s a good beer.

Sweet malty aroma. Dry, light malty, slightly hoppy body. Nice organic/citrusy hop finish.

This is a very old rating that had no description. I’m sure it was good but I don’t remember it.

Simple, but with some delicious fruity-hoppy flavours.
