thedm (3406), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Dec 25, 2005 The DM & Hotstuff vacation July 2005 tour at My Cousin Vinny’s restaurant in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. This bottled brew poured a medium sized head of foamy finely sized mostly lasting off-white colored bubbles that left behind an unnoted lacing. The body contained average carbonation, was transparent and light golden brown in color. Its aroma contained notes of mild malts honey and dirty socks. Its mouth feel is initially tingly with a lingering tingly palate and a mild smooth honey malt aftertaste. Its flavor contained honey malty notes but it gets to ya after a while. Too much honey overpowered me before I could finish my bottle. CapFlu (3340), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada Feb 7, 2006 (Bottle) Thanks to my neighbour Sean for the opportunity to rip-open his 6-pack an indulge in his beer. Amber with a tan head. Nose of corn and honey - Mmm... like Mom used to make! Grainy and light... oh, and boring. Radek Kliber (3339), Toronto, Ontario, Canada May 27, 2007 Tap a C’est What
Clear gold with hint of amber. Large creamy, thick top that left fine lacing.
Sugar sweetness, malt oriented aroma with rather strong hints of honey. Quiet sweet in short.
Light bodied ,even fairly thin . Plain, sweet in character. To sweet to be refreshing and drinkable. Light brew that is over sweetened .
Lubiere (3324), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Jan 5, 2006 Clear amber ale with a thin white head. Light boilded vegetable aroma with diacetyl. Light nutty malt with sweet honey. Medium bodied. November 2005. HogTownHarry (3286), Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, Canada Oct 1, 2005 Bottle (341ml). At October 2005 Winking Judge BeerFest, Hamilton. Poured clear gold-amber, small off-white head. Aroma faintly honey-sweet, a bit of vegetal malt, no hops. Taste is metal, stale hops, somewhat sickly honey, and grains. Palate is both harsh and thin. Overall not much honey, but plenty of harshness - AND weak to boot.
