Burning sugars and sesame oil. Nice combination. Medium body, nice fine carbonation. Big roast and char flavors, light chocolate and coffee. Finishes dry with a long roast bitterness. pootzboy (1046), Hawgville, Ontario, Canada

Lots of cocao-coffee roast in the aroma and some grassiness. Flavor is roasty-sweet, some body and mealy taste from the oats. nice roasty-coffee bittering finish. A nice draft oat stout. Best of this pub’s offerings so far. mabel (2590), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Dark brown black body with a quick bubbly head. More sweet coffee grinds in the flavour, mostly a nice rich roasty malt. Full body is roasty and bitter. Seems under-carbonated but when it warms up it’s very nice and was the best of our flight by far.

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 16, 2009 2009-08-14. Pitch black body tiny tan head. Aroma has dry roasty character, notes of watery coffee and coffee grounds, dark malts. (6+) Flavour is quite dry, lots of roasty bitterness, light coffee ground like roast, dark roasty malt, some sweeter underlying dark malts, bitter finish. Overall impression is quite dry. Decent stout but the coffee like character is not for me. On tap at the brewpub tgncc (810), Bellmore, New York, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 19, 2009 Probably the best of their offerings. The aroma is roasted cofee, chocolate, dark fruit, very nice. The appearance is dark brown, tan head. The flavor doesn’t quite live up to the promise of the aroma, but is roasty, chocolately. The finish is roasted malts, light hops. Not bad overall. Sammy (3981), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jul 2, 2009 The best tasting and looking of their lineup at the new brewpub in Niagara Falls. Winish looking, definately looks watered down for a chocolate stout. 40 IBU, a bit of bitter, only a hint of roast taste, chocolate and other malts. Some head and lace but less than average mouthfeel.
