daboskabouter (1469), Fergus, Ontario, Canada Aug 7, 2007 Pale golden colour with a white fizzy head. The aroma is fruity with green apple and a a little malt. The body is semi-sweet with a fruity middle and not much finish. A fairly alright mainstream lager that’s cheap.
MrManning (1448), London, Ontario, Canada Feb 24, 2008 Draught, as Logger Lager, at the winking Judge- Pale straw and pours a fluffy white head with nice lace left behind. Nose is chalk full of lemons and hay with good biscuit and some sweet grain. Slightly sweet grain and pale malts make up the flavour profile, there is also a bit of biscuit and slight bittering hops towards the finish. Above average Canadian pale lager. karlsefni (1), Canada does not count Jan 22, 2008 wow. This has to be the WORST value beer I have ever tried buying at the Beer Store. joey_capps (1464), Waterdown, Ontario, Canada Aug 24, 2007 Clear pale gold w/ large white head. Aroma is fruity & mildly grainy. Light, juicy feel. Clean, grainy flavour w/ a light hop bitterness. Cornfield (4343), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA Jul 27, 2007 The commercial description ends with "...to appeal to the tastes of the mainstream beer drinker." I think they’ve accomplished that. Looks like the ubiquitious pale lager, perhaps a bit more rich in its coloring. The aroma is pretty faint, some sweet malts, canned corn, and a hint of metalllic bitterness. It tastes better, the malt dominating with a surge of grassy bitterness coming in at the finish. Not too bad. Thanks to my photographer, frankenkitty.
