COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We asked our brewer to make a light beer but not to sacrifice taste and quality. Our brewer surpassed our expectations with our Light Premium Lager for our health and figure-conscious beer drinkers! Our Light Lager is based on our Border Pilsner Lager, brewed with German Pilsner malt and Czech Saaz hops.

On tap at the Syndicate. Clear brew with a golden yellow colour. Very muted aroma, as expected, but has a certain noble hops and hay note. There is also a yeasty/bready aroma that is un-expected. on the palate it proves fairly flavourful with a creamier than expected palate. This brew is a bigger style of beer, if that can be said of light beers. Decently surprised.

bottle. Poured straw coloured, a bit cloudy a the end of the poor, thin white head. Light citrusy hop aroma. Thin mouthfeel and light carbonation. Malt flavour with notes of banana.

Pours light golden yellow with small head. Doesn’t have much finish to it at all. Would have again.

On tap at the brewpub, unfiltered. I was shocked, this is one of the first Ontario Light Lagers I have ever enjoyed. Being unfiltered added quite a bit flavor. Great bready grainy malts. Light hops. Great bready finish, a nice beer.

Bottle, purchased as part of mixed 6-pack at the brewpub. Pours a clear bronze with a rapidly vanishing head. Surprisingly flavourful, with lighlty toasted grains and a whiff of grassy hops in the end. For a light lager, top drawer!

341 ml bottle from the brewery. Pours light golden in colour with a small white head. Initially quite carbonated, but settles nicely. Aroma is mild, slightly sweet. Taste is of Pils malt, mild hop finish.

On tap at Niagara’s Best. Pours a clear straw yellow with a thin white head. Light caramel, touch of citrus, little bit of oxidization. Medium body, much more than I’d expect from a light lager. Finishes up dry with a bit more oxidized plum and cardboard.

Tap: Medium gold, lightly protein hazed with a 2 finger hermetic white cap..decent lacing for a "light" beer. Aromas of cereal, husk, light sweetness, and some faint floral tones, light sulphur tones. Moderate mouth feel with a light body. adequate biscuity malts and floral hopping in good balance, fresh tasting with a clean malty finish. One of the best light lagers (pilsners) I’ve tasted. Would double as a session lager any day.
