Tap at Syndicate in Niagara Falls. Pale, bright, almost greenish yellow with bright white head that retains very well, the constant bubbling keeping it up like forever. Thick lace. The aroma is citric and grainy. Taste likewise - the citric notes make it refreshing but the graininess gives it a rather unpleasant cornflakey character. Flat on the palate, the bubbling I guess is only for the eyes. Overall... definitely more flavoursome than all the macros - my 2.9/5 for a Pale Lager is a compliment.

En fût au Syndicate. Couleur jaune paille translucide, mousse blanche. Arôme de céréales, herbal. Goût de céréales, malt, houblon herbal, amertume moyen-faible. Carbonatation moyenne, corps moyen.

Draught @ Syndicate, Niagara Falls. Pours clear pale straw with small white head. Clear aroma of yeast, with notes of malt and touches of hops. Sweetish, estery flavour with mild, hoppy and malty notes. Watery, despite the high carbonation. Estery aftertaste. I don’t think I will log on to this lager again. 090715

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a yellow-gold color with a medium sized foamy white head that left minimal lacing. The aroma was tangy macro lager with a bit of fruit. The flavor was bitter and dryish with cardboard and a touch of medicine.. Long finish. Medium body. Not good.

Pours a clear gold with a decent white head. Aroma of grassy hops and some sweet malt. Taste is similar-- hops, malts & a bit grainy/bready.

On tap at TGIFrideys. Clear golden with a thin white head. Aroma of sulfur and yeast and malt. Flavour is nicely malty with a smooth bitterness. Finish is distinctly malty.

Bottle - 341ml. Golden body with average carbonation and a thin white foamy head. Its malty/hoppy aroma is well balanced but is rather thin. Decent malty/hoppy taste with grainy notes. Ends with a short bittersweet finish. Fair Lager.

On tap. Clear golden yellow with small head that retains. A hint of grass in the flavour. Really nice. Would have again.

This lager poured a clear, light yellow colour with a big, bright white, foamy head. To the nose there are scents of corn, dough, bread and cereal. First sip was smooth with quite a strong flavour of cream corn. Other flavours include hay, bread adn a small amount ofhopp bitterness. Finish is cereal (corn flakes) with a slight bitterness that lingers...
