Jun 4, 2008 Draft at Ølfestival, Århus, 2008. A black beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of roasted malt as well as medium notes of citrus and chocolate, and light notes of coffee. The flavor is very sweet malty with strong notes of roasted malt.

Sep 17, 2008 ++Draught at European Beer Festival, Copenhagen.++ Black, small beige head. Roasty coffee aroma. Dryish and heavily roasty. Medium bodied with some dark chocolate. The mouthfeel seem to consist of a solid core with mushy edges. Some asphalt lingers in the finish. A solid porter with lots of things going for it.

May 28, 2008 Århus2008. From tap. Pours dark brown to black with a lacing tan head. Roasted malt and slight coffee aroma. Flavour is roasted malt: light roasted malt and mild chocolate towards coffee notes. Ends medium dry and light acidic.

Sep 24, 2008 Draught@EBF2008. Black colour, not much head. Aroma is coffee, chocolate, strong roasted malts and also some slight stinging alcohol. Flavour is alcohol, sweet malts, coffee and mild roasted notes. Aftertaste gets bigtime roasted malts meeting alcohol. Even though the alcohol hints it’s a quite nice and wellbalanced beer.
