Pours deep amber with a small fainting beige head. The aroma is heavy spiced with notes of cardemon, clove, cinnamon and sweet malt. The flavour is toasted malt, cinnamon and other xmas spices. Not overpowered but okay spicey.

50 cl. 6,5 % Dejlig kastanie brun juleøl. Passer godt til det meste julemad

500 ml bottle. Dark brown body with a nice beige head. Aroma has malt, light roasted caramel, dry fruit and Belgium yeast. Flavour is sweet and smooth malt, dry fruit, burnt sugar and Belgium yeast. Medium body and fine aftertaste. Nothing super complex, but well-made and tasty. It might have something to do with time & place (and specially the cheese!) but this beer surprised me as a really nice treat.

Brown coloured beer with a medium creamy head. Aroma is roasted malt, with some rye bread and coffee notes. Flavor is sweet and with some roasted malts and caramel notes. Medium palate.

Bottle 500ml @ home
Pours clear brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, dust, caramel, dried fruits and yeast. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle at home. Clear dark brown with a light brown head. Aroma heavy spicy and malty (roasted, dark fruits, licorice). Flavor medium sweet and spicy, light bitter. Medium+ body.

Bottle. Aroma of rosted malt and some liquorice and yeast. Dark brown colour with beige head. Malt in flvour with liquorice becoming more expressed as temperature goes up. Slightly bitter finish.

Bottle. Pours opaque brownish black with small white head. Aroma is roasted malt, ripe fruit, rye bread and hints of coffee. Taste is light bitter, light sweet and light sour. Body is light oily with light carbonation. Finish is a bit short and light bitter with notes of white wine, dried fruits, cookies and a bit metallic.

It’s hazy dark brown with a red hue. The aroma has notes of yeast and spice, quite dominating, a touch of licorice and roasted malt. The sweet flavor has notes of yeast, spice, licorice, fruits (orange citrus fruits) - somehow I feel the American hops collide with the rest of this beer. The finish is slightly bitter.

Bottled. Cloudy dark brown, small head. fruity nose with canteloupe, chocolate and marzipan. Sweetish with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. More melon in a finish with low bitterness.
