Clear medium to dark red brown color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, roasted, caramel, chocolate, coffee notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. IMO not a dunkelweizen more like a dunkel. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100518]

It’s blac/redbrown with a creamy head and the aroma has notes of roasted malt, light coffee, licorice and caramel. The flavour is sweet with notes of roasted malt, licorice, coffee and softness from the wheat, the finish has a roasted bitterness. I would have guessed this to be a sweet stout, and even if the softness grows as the beer gets warmer, it still is very stout-like.
